Output Panel (Notifications Board)

The Output Panel is where all communication between the IDE and hardware/system is displayed, including compilation, uploading, and Serial communication.

Location: At the bottom of the IDE interface.

General Structure

The Output Panel is divided into 2 main tabs:

  1. CONSOLE: Displays system logs, compile errors, and upload status.
  2. SERIAL MONITOR: Real-time communication tool with the board via Serial port.

Basic Operations

  • Open/Close: Click the "OUTPUT" title bar or use a shortcut (if available) to collapse/expand the panel.
  • Resize: Drag the top border of the panel to adjust height.

Common Toolbar

Both tabs share some utility tools on the right corner:

  • Clear (Trash can): Clear all current content.
  • Copy: Copy log content to clipboard.
  • Export (Download): Export log content to .txt or .log file for storage.
  • Settings (Gear): Display settings (Font size, Auto-scroll...).
